What Is It?

An anorak is a hooded waterproof parka usually hip-length. Sometimes called a "windcheater" by the British.
A brogue is a thick and heavy shoe formerly worn in Scotland and Ireland; also, spelled brogan.
A caftan is a full-length tunic or robe for men, usually made of cotton or silk. Originally chiefly worn in Mediterranean countries, an imitation caftan of bright colors became popular in the US in the 1970s and is associated with hippy culture.
A cornet is a woman's headdress of starched cloth popular in the 12th to 15th centuries. Cornet is also used to refer to a nun's headdress of the same period.
A fez is a felt flat-topped conical hat usually red with a black tassel, worn by men in North African and eastern Mediterranean countries. It was once the national headdress of Turkish men.
A kepi is a French military hat with a round flat top and a visor. (Also known as a yachting cap.)
Rompers is a one-piece garment for babies and small children. Rompers usually have short pants, a bib, and are held up by shoulder straps.
A sari (or saree), is a woman's garment consisting of a long piece of fabric that reaches the feet and is draped around the body and pleated around the waist. Saris are traditionally worn by South Asian women.
A tam, or tam-o'shanter is a brimless woolen cap, usually with a bobble at the center of the crown; traditionally Scottish.
A trilby is a soft felt hat with a creased crown and a narrow brim. Other names include fedora and Stetson.
A wedgie is shoe with a heel shaped like a wedge, that forms a solid extension of the shoe sole so that there is no gap under the instep.
