TV Trivia: Friends, Where are they now?

The highly popular sitcom Friends ran for two hundred and thirty-eight episodes spanned over ten television seasons on NBC, and continues to be broadcast in syndication. The core group of the cast was: Jennifer Aniston, as Rachel Green; Courteney Cox as Monica Geller; Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay; Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani; Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing; and David Schwimmer, as Ross Geller.

The show's final episode was aired in May 2004. Jennifer Aniston also worked in films during the Friends run from 1994 to 2004. Since the sitcom ended, Aniston has worked in the films Derailed and Rumor Has It, from 2005; The Break-Up, in 2006; Marley & Me, 2008; and He's Just Not That into You, in 2009. She also has two new films in post-production, awaiting release in 2010. She also guest-starred in the Courteney Cox's TV series Dirt, in 2007.

Besides the series Dirt, mentioned above, Courteney Cox has taken a role in the new ABC comedy series Cougar Town.

Lisa Kudrow has an extensive filmography which she has consistently added to since the conclusion of Friends, and just recently she joined Courteney Cox on Cougar Town.

After Friends, Matt LeBlanc went on the star for two seasons in his own spin-off series Joey, and will star in a new BBC/Showtime TV series to be premiered in 2010.

Matthew Perry has appeared in a few films and TV shows since Friends. He has also began directing and writing.

Since 2004, David Schwimmer has appeared in films; performed voice roles in the Madagascar movies; debuted on Broadway; and also made his stage debut in London.
