Location

Venezuela is located on the north coast of the South American continent on the southern shores of the Caribbean Sea. The country is bordered by Guyana on the east, Brazil on the south, and Colombia on the west.

Geographic Features

Geographic features of Venezuela include lowlands around Lago de Maracaibo in the northeast, the Andes are inland, and grassy plains of the Orinoco River system.

Climate

Venezuela experiences a hot and humid tropical climate, with cooler conditions in the highlands.
