Formation
Venezuela was formed in 1830 after the Gran Colombia was dissolved.

Angel Falls, in the Guyana Highlands, southern Venezuela, is the highest waterfall in the world at 3210 feet (979 m).
In the early 1920s Venezuela exported more oil than any country in the world.
