World Countries: Trinidad and Tobago

Location

Located in the southeastern Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago are the most southerly of the Windward Islands, only nine miles from the coast of Venezuela.

Geographic Features

The islands are forested with low mountains. The great Pitch Lake is located in southwest Trinidad.

Climate

Trinidad and Tobago experience a tropical climate with a marked wet season.

White stands for the surrounding sea and the
aspirations of the people. Black represents
