The Grenadines are flat and mostly bare. Saint Vincent is forested mountains.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines experience a tropical climate with a marked wet season and are subject to hurricanes.

the islands as "The Gems of the Antilles."
Depicted to look like the letter V, the diamonds
also represent "Vincent." The color blue represents
sea and sky; yellow represents the golden sand
of the Grenadines; and the color green represents
the tropical vegetation.
