Location

Located in the Caribbean south of Dominica, Saint Lucia is part of the Windward Islands.

Geographic Features

Of volcanic origin, Saint Lucia is mountainous. Ancient lava cones, the Pitons, are on the west coast.

Climate

Saint Lucia experiences a tropical climate with a marked wet season.
