Location

Paraguay is located in central South America and is bounded by Bolivia and Brazil on the north and Argentina on the south.

Geographic Features

The Paraguay River flows through the middle of the country. There are forested hills in the east, pasture lands and marsh in the west.

Climate

Paraguay experiences subtropical climate conditions and is subject to periods of drought and flooding.
