Northern Kentucky

The Northern Kentucky area, "The Southern Side of Cincinnati", as it is sometimes called, consist of the three counties in the "North Bend" of the Ohio River, specifically Boone, Campbell, and Kenton; and the adjacent counties of Bracken, Gallatin, Grant, and Pendleton. This area is home to almost one-half million people.

In the word search puzzle above, the Northern Kentucky cities of Burlington, Covington, Erlanger, Florence, Fort Thomas, Independence, and Newport, are used because they fit the description of the puzzle title. However, there are numerous smaller cities, towns and communities that make up the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area. Among these are Highland Heights in Campbell County, which is home to Northern Kentucky University; Crestview Hills in Kenton County, home to Thomas More College; and Hebron, in Boone County, home to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

Visit the Web site of the Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau for more information on the attractions and historic sites in this area.
