They are being issued in the order in which they served in conjunction with the Presidential Dollars program that began in 2007. Four presidential dollar coins and four $10 gold pieces are issued each calendar year. The BU (brilliant uncirculated) dollars currently sell for about $3.00 each. The First Spouse coins, on the other hand, if in BU condition are going for as much as $200 apiece.
