(Curd is the coagulated portion of milk, as distinct from the watery whey. It is from the curd that cheese is made.) Related words are wheyface and curdle. Wheyface is a pale, sallow face; or a person having such a face. Curdle means to turn to curd; coagulate; congeal; thicken.
