Did You Know? (13 Down) Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) is
considered one of America's greatest architects. Remembered for building
Fallingwater, a house near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, that appears to be a
natural part of a waterfall; he is also known for his designs of "prairie"
houses. The floor plans of a prairie house create long open structures with rows
of windows, (many with colored glass panes), and a central hearth. Among the
public buildings Wright designed are the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan and the
Guggenheim Museum in New York City.
