Cryptic crosswords and other puzzles use anagrams as clues. An anagram is a word or phrase created by rearranging the letters of another word or phrase. Many times the clues are nonsense phrases. In the puzzles below, ALL of the clues are anagrams and the answers fit the "Title Category". Using the category title as a guide, rearrange the letters of the nonsense phrases to form an appropriate answer in the boxes across. An example of a cryptic anagram: Category Title: American Authors The alphabet letters of the name "Norman Mailer" can be rearranged to form the nonsense phrase, "Roman mineral", and vice versa.
